The Eagles begin their West Coast road trip in Bakersfield

The Colorado Eagles begin their West Coast trip tonight in Bakersfield, Calif. at 7:30 a.m. MST. This is the fourth series for both teams this season. The last time the two teams met was in February, with the Eagles dropping both games to the Condors.

In Game 1 of the series, Ryan Wagner, Kiefer Sherwood and Mikhail Maltsev all scored and goalkeeper Justus Annunen made 34 saves on 38 shots. It wasn’t enough to give the Eagles the lead, with the Condors winning 4-3.

In Game 2 of the series, Keaton Middleton was the Eagles’ lone goal, scoring at 9:03 into the third period, goaltender Justus Annunen made 27 saves on 31 shots. The Eagles fell to the Condors, 3-1.
